Bio: Beginning January 2016, I'm a 32-years-young cancer survivor of Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia after eight years of cancer treatment including four relapses, two bone marrow transplants, countless complications and even arsenic. God gave me the strength to conquer college & cancer simultaneously! I’m a writer & a fighter & a poet so I show it.The goal with this blog includes spreading knowledge I learned fighting cancer to hopefully help other people in their journeys, and also provide a few laughs sprinkled in from time to time.

  1. Hi Amy! I ran into your mom at Cindy’s house. Our grandpas were brothers! We have lived so close to each other all our lives and have never met. Just thought I would say Hi!

  2. Amy,

I met you on a flight from Philly to Detroit today. You have touched my life and you are the most amazing person I have ever met. Keep up all your excellent work on the blog, I will be sure to share this with others.

  3. Hi Amy,

It’s been years since I have seen you or heard about your health. I am truly amazed and inspired by your story. Thanks for the inspiring blog.

    • Hi Sue,

How wonderful to hear from you, and I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed reading my blog! I remember in high school, since Carrie’s your age, hearing that students called you “Super” because that was the first part of your name. Today marks my first spill on the ice as I was exiting Carrie’s car in my driveway. Anyways, enjoy a hopefully fall-on-the-ice-free wintry week, Amy
