It’s Just

Says a young woman Carly – slowly dying from a disease but completely accepting of her situation –  to a close friend of her father, with Carly’s words in purple text:

“If you knew Jesus, you’d feel differently.”

He replies, “I’m not a religious man, Carly.”

“Neither am I. . . . I’m not religious either.”

“You sure sound religious to me.”

“Because I believe Jesus and love Him? That’s not religion. It’s just love and trust.”
