Today I changed, in a big way,
Thanks to Sarah’s words and help today.
I love it when she is free
And can spend “sister-time” with me.
She plucks my eyebrows and paints my nails,
But that’s not all Sarah entails.
She talks to me and makes me realize
That cancer isn’t me, it’s just something I went through, she is so wise.
I don’t need to wait and wear my “good” shirts when my line is removed.
“Why not wear them now?” Sarah asked and my wardrobe improved.
So I tried on my clothes, my shirts, hats and jeans.
Now I know what Sarah means.
I moved my good shirts from the bottom to the top.
I love you, Sarah, my fashion/life cop.
